Dear Rockies Wildlife Crossing Field Course Participants and colleagues
interested in highways and wildlife:
Thanks to the Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE), the
proceedings from the field course are now available at http://itre.ncsu.edu/CTE/gateway/rockies_index.asp
The online proceedings include powerpoint presentations, a photo gallery,
future needs discussion, as well as a proceedings booklet that includes
project abstracts and additional photos. Videos were recorded for the
entirety of the field course, and will be available online in the near
future. If anyone is interested in receiving a copy of the video of the
field course for educational purposes, please contact
monique@restoretherockies.org monique@restoretherockies.org so we
can assess the need and demand for this footage.
Thank you to all who sponsored and attended this overwhelmingly successful
course - The course drew a total of 138 participants from 16 U.S. states
and three Canadian provinces, including biologists, engineers,
consultants, agency officials, non-profits and foundations, as well as
delegates from FHWA headquarters, division offices and state
transportation agencies.
Please feel free to forward these proceedings to anyone who might find
them useful. Thanks again, and I look forward to seeing many of you in
San Diego at the upcoming ICOET event!
Sincerely,
Monique
